We are seeking a detail-oriented Mortgage Analyst for our client in the financial services sector. This role is responsible for ensuring the accuracy of loan requests by reviewing financial records, validating them against loan terms, and preparing closing documents.
The Mortgage Analyst will manage a pipeline of 40-50 loan files and collaborate closely with internal teams, loan originators, underwriters, and closing departments to meet deadlines efficiently.
Responsibilities include: validating term sheets with provided documentation, clearing loan conditions while communicating with internal teams, maintaining a personal pipeline of 40-50 loan files, building knowledge of loan products and internal policies, preparing accurate loan files for underwriting and closing, analyzing credit packages, serving as a point of contact for applicants and stakeholders, and performing additional duties as assigned.
1-3 years of experience, preferably in the mortgage industry.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required.
Strong knowledge of loan documentation policies and mortgage regulations.
High attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to multitask.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Familiarity with credit reporting and mortgage collateral reviews.
Ability to work well under pressure and manage strict deadlines.
Proficiency in Excel; experience with Salesforce or Loan Origination Systems is a plus.
Salary: $60,000-$65,000 (based on experience, qualifications, and location).
