The Python SQL Developer will work on a 24-month contract, onsite 3 days per week in Dallas, Minneapolis, Atlanta, or Bay Area. The main responsibilities include working on new data pipelines and connections in Azure, data migration from GCP to Azure, data transformation, query conversion, developing new data validation tools, and data APIs in Azure AKS. The project involves data warehouse migration and the creation of data pipelines. The duration is set for 6 months for MVP development, with a possibility for additional scope, performance tuning, and documentation post MVP launch.
Requirements
Over 10 years experience with Python and SQL.
Over 5 years hands-on experience with Azure cloud as well as Azure Data Factory, Synapse, Event Hub, AKS.
Experience with distributed processing frameworks such as Kafka and Spark.
Good communication and problem-solving skills are required.
Preferred skills include experience with GraphQL API, REST API, data microservice, and shell scripting.
Experience with AWS and Azure cloud is a plus.
