As a Principal at PSL, you will spend your time advancing ideas from their earliest stages to creating scalable businesses led by outstanding entrepreneurs. You will define and interrogate the key questions that determine a startup’s success or failure. Working alongside the PSL Core team, you will act as a versatile 'dream cofounder'—talking to customers, synthesizing insights, refining business models, launching marketing campaigns, using AI to prototype, developing company narratives, and collaborating with product teams to build MVPs.
Most of the time, you’ll assess ideas for viability, determining which ones to pursue and which to drop. Your daily work will include catalyzing startup ideas from conception to validation and scale, driving schedules and key deliverables, running customer interviews, crafting products with multi-disciplinary teams, preparing sales narratives and investor decks, building operational foundations, partnering with founders, engaging the startup community, and improving studio systems.
Requirements
You are curious, optimistic but discerning, highly autonomous, and passionate about startups.
Signs this might be a fit: You have founded your own company and understand the startup journey; you have owned and launched winning products at tech companies; you have built technical side projects; you possess strong skills in UX, prototyping, customer research, growth, branding, or technology; you have experience in early-stage startups or agency product leadership; you have expertise in acquiring customers and scaling to product-market fit; you are a thought leader with a community presence online.
Preferred skills and qualifications: Comfort with ambiguity and risk; self-motivated, team-player with a positive attitude; strong financial analysis and modeling skills; creative and strategic thinker; experience in product management or business strategy at a startup; technical knowledge in a specific industry; organized and detail-oriented project management; clear communicator able to simplify complex ideas; collaborative and supportive relationship builder.

Salary range $160,000–$190,000 annually with eligibility for an equity grant. Medical, dental, vision, EAP, and life insurance (100% employee premium paid, 75% dependent coverage).
